SOP DESIGN & IMPLEMENTATION

A standard operating procedure or SOP are a set of instructions that address the WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHY, WHEN AND HOW of an activity. With the rapid evolution of technology, businesses need to be adaptable to new ways of working. Adaptability can be assessed & imbibed only if the existing processes are well documented & well-calculated. Thus, documenting processes is no more a choice but an inevitable element of every organization, be it a corporate or a conglomerate, a mid-scale or an SME.

Team BRSSA have been developing SOPs for several organizations of various scales to achieve operational excellence. An SOP describes in detail the implementation of a business policy. This includes:

Fulfilling policy requirements such as regulatory policies, internal standards, and/or industry best practices.

Defining the goals that the process will accomplish, and breaking these into individual steps to achieve that goal.

Mapping the applicable policy, standards, and practices to an explicit, step-by-step set of actions.

Assigning the roles responsible for carrying out each step.
